In a world where efficiency and sustainability mark the future of logistics, Grasshopper Air Mobility positions itself as an innovative player. This startup , born in Barcelona in 2023 from the vision of Jakob Saalfrank , CEO and co-founder, proposes a new era in the transport of goods using autonomous drones capable of flying and circulating, integrating into Industry 4.0 processes .
The inspiration for Grasshopper stems from a personal experience in Saalfrank, Austria, in 2018. At that time, his frustration with the long commutes from his home to a company located on the outskirts and the inefficiency of rural transport led him to ask himself: why not fly to work? This reflection transformed into the vision of developing an autonomous flying vehicle in synergy with the principles of shared mobility. However, it was in Barcelona, years later, that he decided to take the leap and turn this idea into reality.
