At Grasshopper Air Mobility, they develop "grasshopper" drones capable of flying and moving on the ground to optimize each delivery.
"Our vehicle first moves on the ground, then 'hops' into the air to fly a long distance, and finally moves back on the ground to its final destination. This movement pattern is similar to that of a grasshopper, which walks, hops, and walks again," explains Jakob Saalfrank, the company's co-founder and CEO.
