Cookie Policy

1. There is no cookie banner because there are no cookies

Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE), which transposes the EU ePrivacy Directive, requires your consent before a website stores information on your device or reads information from it. It is that act, storing or retrieving, that creates the obligation. Simply running a website does not.

This website does neither. It sets no cookies of its own, it loads no third-party cookies, and it writes nothing to your browser’s local storage, session storage or database. There is nothing to ask your permission for, so we do not ask, and we do not show you a banner. A banner requesting consent for cookies we do not use would simply be untrue.

2. Check it yourself

You do not have to take our word for it. In any browser, press F12 to open the developer tools, open the Application tab in Chrome or Edge, or the Storage tab in Firefox or Safari, and look at Cookies and Local Storage for this site. Both are empty.

3. What does happen when you visit

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, records the technical details of each request (your IP address, the time, the page requested, your browser type) in its server logs. This is a normal and necessary part of delivering a website and protecting it from attack. It happens on the server, not on your device, so the cookie rules do not cover it. Data protection law does, and we explain it in our Privacy Policy.

The fonts and images this site uses are served from our own domain. No content is loaded from Google Fonts, from a content delivery network, or from any advertising or analytics network. We run no analytics software of any kind.

4. The one exception, which is the video

The home page contains a video hosted on YouTube. It does not load when the page loads. What you see is a still image stored on our own server, with a play button on top of it.

If you click that play button, and only then, the video is fetched from YouTube, and at that moment YouTube (Google Ireland Limited) may store information on your device and receive your IP address. That is YouTube’s processing, under Google’s own privacy policy, not ours. We use the youtube-nocookie.com address, which reduces what is set, and we restrict what referrer information is passed.

The choice is yours and nothing happens until you make it. If you never click play, YouTube is never contacted.

5. Changes

If this site ever starts using cookies, this page will say so before it happens. Where consent is required we will ask for it properly, with accepting and refusing equally easy, as the Spanish Data Protection Agency requires.
