Grasshopper Air Mobility and Aerova Sign Strategic MoU to Jointly Bring Autonomous Drone Logistics to Canada
Barcelona, Spain / Toronto, Canada, 16th February 2026 – Grasshopper Air Mobility and Aerova have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at joint efforts to explore and implement use cases in Canadian logistics for the application of Grasshopper's drone models.
The agreement aligns the ambitions of both companies for the usage of autonomous drones for B2B package and pallet logistics in rural, remote, and peri-urban environments: Grasshopper Air Mobility, developer of autonomous heavy-cargo drone models, and Aerova, a Canadian company that enables heavy-payload, long-range autonomous cargo operations by integrating partner aircraft for operations across Canada, Europe, and India.
Under the MoU, both organizations will identify, analyze, and promote use cases with logistics and manufacturing companies across Canada and aim to create further partnerships amongst industry stakeholders.
