MOU signed between Grasshopper Air Mobility and Dronpharma

Barcelona, Spain, July 14th 2025 – Grasshopper Air Mobility and Dronpharma have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen their collaboration on the development and deployment of autonomous drone logistics solutions for the pharmaceutical sector.

The agreement builds on an already active relationship between the two companies, including an LOI from Dronpharma over 5 units, shared speaker engagements at Barcelona New Economy Week 2024 and SIL 2025, as well as a joint application to the CDTI NEOTEC public funding call. With this MoU, both parties reaffirm their commitment to jointly developing efficient, scalable, and fully traceable cold-chain delivery solutions via autonomous aerial technologies.

The collaboration will focus on identifying Dronpharma’s operational needs, testing key use cases with a small-scale proof-of-concept vehicle and jointly applying for public innovation funding to accelerate deployment. Grasshopper contributes its expertise in autonomous, (fly-drive) drone technology, while Dronpharma brings sectoral know-how and logistics infrastructure tailored to the pharmaceutical industry.
