MOU signed between Grasshopper Air Mobility and Pirineos Drone

Barcelona, Spain, June 23rd 2025 – Grasshopper Air Mobility and Pirineos Drone have signed a Memorandum of Understanding in order to explore the integration of Grasshopper’s next-generation autonomous drone systems into Pirineos Drone’s existing drone logistics operations across Catalonia.

The collaboration will focus on identifying mission profiles that combine Grasshopper’s cargo drone technology with Pirineos Drone’s operational expertise. The partners aim to jointly evaluate industrial and rural use cases and explore pilot deployments in real-world logistics environments. Grasshopper brings its range of currently developing cargo drone solutions, while Pirineos Drone contributes field-tested deployment capacity and regional presence.

Both companies are active within Catalonia’s logistics drone ecosystem and share a commitment to enabling scalable drone operations in viable use cases. This agreement thus strengthens synergies between local drone manufacturing and drone operations entities, enabling rapid validation of new aerial logistics models and manifesting Catalonia as a pioneering region for drone logistics.
